begnir thanks for your reply. I did take the ecu out and it has definately been under water. I will get another one delivered tomorrow and then see from there and i will post my results. The wires did ohm out from the ecu to the plugs going to the iac valve and the tdc sensors. The dorossion inside the ecu makes me wonder how it even ran at all.
