A car that has won Nationals (pedigree) and all the research and tuning have been done already. That's already worth like $10k.
He has replaced just about every piece on the car with newer/better parts. I think he even took off the undercoating, repainted it and re-undercoated it. Engine has been rebuilt, LSD, axles, bushings, suspension arms, etc.... That's about $5000. Then he has done all the test and tuning for your which is probably $3000.
