Is it a base model or an SH?
If it is a base model, then a new set of performance shocks would be a good upgrade, however, if it is an SH, then I would keep the stock suspension, as it already handles very well.

Reason: Driveability.
Yes, a set of stiff shocks tuned for performance would be a good idea for increasing the handling performance of the base model, but is it really worth it to upgrade the already stellar suspension on an SH just to gain a tenth of a point on the skidpad? IMO, no. Plus the larger wheels, with smaller sidewalls, will increase the amount of road noise and harshness, further worsening the ride quality.

If anything, get a CAI and a patented Bypass valve, it's good for 5hp or so, and sounds nice when accelerating, but is not loud or intrusive, like an exhaust.

I got an EG and an SH Lude... EG has tokico blues and lowering springs with 205/17/40's, while lude is SH stock. IMO the SH rides MUCH better, yet it still handles just as well. But, to each his own, so whatever makes you happy.
