its the head. my speedo died recently and the tach jumps. both have been jumping for yrs. i replaced the distributor, the coil, and the vss. its the guage cluster. our cars r old and the circuit boards start to short out. u can try and get a cluster used. they r new at www.hondaautoparts.com and very expensive.
