i have to say yes and no....i believe they seriously do want to use their research for peaceful means but i also think they have other motives as well. otherwise why would they turn down offers to stop their enrichment if they are provided with already enriched uranium to power a nuclear reactor? isnt that what they are trying to accomplish?

i also think a large portion of concern is the political stance the Iranian govt has show towards countries such as the US, Isreal, and any of those two allies and supporters.

Iran deserves to have nuclear power but with their political views and past track record they def need to have strict international regulation and inspection on the entire start to finish process of their enrichment process to be sure none is "lost" or enriched to weapons grade material
