Maybe he doesn't want to go through 3 alternators and 2 trannies? A new Accord is 25k and is a basic commuter car. Newer cars mean cheaper insurance and relatively better reliability. You're just being a fag at this point, grasping for straws.
I guarentee I've spent less on maintenance in the last 2 years than he will for his car.
Alternators cost $105 apiece for my car. The tranny was $700 installed. So $910 on stuff that "shouldn't have broken". Over the last 80,000 miles. On a car that had 150k to begin with at the point when the tranny went out. You can go through $900 in two or three dealer service visits no problem.
I'm not talking about Accords. I have no fucking idea why you're talking about Accords. I'm not comparing the Impreza to an Accord. I dislike Accords, I can't wait to get out of mine. I'm comparing the Impreza to every other car you can get that costs $15,000 or so.
