even factory boosted cars are less reliable than their n/a counter parts: everything from mitsu gst's to vw's with 1.8t.

i drive A LOT. i dont want to worry bout leaky hoses, vaccum lines, turbo timers, inline fuel pumps, etc. im thinking of boosting eventually, but it takes a lot of time and $$ to do it right. you're adding a lot of equipment to your car which can lead to problems down the line, hence the reduced reliability.

i drive 30kmi anually, and until i dont have to drive as much, no boost for me.
