I am believed to be the third owner I think. The story goes that cha chi bought it off a college professor. He swapped in a 97 Civic EX motor (sohc vtec d16y8) and kept the original DX tranny. He bought a greddy turbo kit...drove it for a while, then bought an EK hatch - took the turbo off the car and sold it me.

I bought it in 2003 with about 98k miles on it. Driven about 10k miles per year. Has coilovers, no name 15 inch wheels, lightweight pully, stock exhaust.
Has dual airbags and WORKING A/C, RARE black interior and was the last year of the EG hatch.

The downside here is that there is a mysterious lower end engine noise that I suspect is a rod knocking ops: so sounds like it needs a new motor.

I'm not exactly sure what to sell it for, I did some searches but couldn't find alot of backround info on a 95ish eg hatch.

KBB.com puts it at around 2.5-3k for one with a working motor. I figure I could swap in another sohc VTEC motor for around 500 bux but will offer it up here first.

I would say that it is "relatively clean" or "above average" considering there alot of beat down hatches out there.











Has 130k on the body and transmission. Everything that I can think of works... Car has clean title.

Not perfect, but better than the average bear i think...

I'm considering offers or possible trades for import type vehicles that are clean. I already have another truck so would be looking for a car if anything.
