Should it fit snuggly before I clamp it down? And the other hose I was talking about was the hose for the intake manifold to the throttle body.
But ya, I think there are some cracks in the breather hose. I noticed a kind of residue on my windsheild after a few days of driving (near where the breather hose is, at the bottom of the windsheild). And it kind of seems like I lost hp.
Any ideas?
I just got an aem v2 intake, and part of the installation procedure was to install the supplied water bypass hose between the throttlebody and intake manifold, and a separate hose between the valve cover and the aem intake tube. If either is too big or small, just go down to your local auto parts store and get some heater hose. It should be like $0.10 an inch.
I have a question though. Did you have to replace a transmission mount as part of your installation? That's part of the install on my v2, and I couldn't understand why that is required.
