Default converting AVI to DVD standalone? (mac)
I am a little blurry on this one.

Can avi be converted to play on dvd standalone players? (from research yes) ...but what software to use? (OSX 10.4)

I have a convertor to convert avi to MP4, but none to convert to MPG1 or MPG2. I've heard Toast has such option...but I'm not going to purchase it to convert one file.

VisualHub does the job...but I can only get the trial version that converts 2 minutes h:
