Nope, sorry. I have the opposite problem with mine. It audibly arms but you can't get the alarm to sound to save your life. The only way to get it to sound is to push the red panic button on the remote. I've armed it, then rocked the car, tried to open the doors, hit different parts of the car like the doors, hood, etc. I can't get it to go off or even give off a warning, you know, like when the lights flash a little. Frankly, its worthless. But 90% of alarms usefulness is simply a deterrant so I don't care too much. I'm sure that little blinking light will keep it safe.

The OEM alarm is not a vibration alarm. I rather like this, some @$$ up the street from me has an alarm that will go off if a gnat farts.
As for the issue in the original post, do you own a helm manual? The alarm brain for EX is located behind the glove box. In the LX or DX or SE it was a dealer installed OEM option after the fact item.
