a little of both.

Si trans is slower.
S trans is made for economy.

just look at your speed/rpm you will notice the Si is in higher rpms but lower speeds, but the s is opposite. just cruise at 35mph in 3-4th gear.

also the Sol is like 500-600 lbs heavier than the CRX.
