I have a 1991 Honda Accord EX with an unusal problem which is occurring more often than usual.

When the car is running (at any speed), the speedometer will stop functioning and go to "0", the engine light will go on "red" and the "S" indicator will also go on.

When I stop the car and turn it off, the problem disappears until next time.

Any ideas?
