you can also check the code by getting any wire and go under the front passenger side where the glove box is and find a blue connector that only has 2 ends to it not connected to anything else. get the wire and stick one end in each hole to connect both ends. this is the tricky part. you need to find the codes on the internet from 1 to i think is 24 codes. now when you get the codes, and you do the wire thing, the check engine light will flash the codes. 1 quick flash is number 1 code, 2 quick flashes is number two code. number 5 code is 1 long flash and numbre 10 is two long flashes and so on
