Who cares if they have access to your PS3 or not? What are they going to do, copy your saved game? OOOOOOHHHHHHHHH

I don't think it's a good idea to use spare cycles like that by default. I'd applaud having it as an option, off by default. But on by default is going to use more electricty and generate heat from the machine. I wouldn't want that on by default.
