Ok, so a little backround:

'98 Accord, 103,500 miles, Sedan, Auto.

So about a week ago, my check engine light went on, but by the time I arrived at home, it was of. Now, it's back again, and I have no owners manual to go by. Could you guys please tell me what might be wrong, and what I can do do not only fix the problem, but keep it from persisting in the future?

Any help is much appreciated.

Also, after a couple hours of not running, the acc. pedal becomes sticky, and I have to tap it before i hit the gas. Any ideas to soften it up?
