I have a D16Y8 in my 99 civic EX that I want to build. The engine has 102k miles on it, so I'm worried that F/I would be a bad idea am I right? I'm hoping to get around 200HP roughly. My budget=not very big. If I were to stay N/A, what setup do you recommend for me? I know theres a bunch of mods out there, but what would be a good setup that could give me numbers close to these. I know your gonna tell me to get an engine swap first and BELIEVE ME I would LOVE to, it's just that it's too expensive for me to do a swap, and then build on it. Please just give me some suggestions on what you think is best for my car.
