edit: are you sure you are burning them as movies, video_ts etc? or as data?
the recorder is doing all the work, it's a player/recorder you know the deal--
i was using it and HD input to record movies at home and they worked on the player, but no luck anywhere else... the discs are -R because thats what the player takes, but i also put it in a +/- RW drive with no luck
