I'm a 1200 Civic guy at heart... We used to stroke them to 1335cc using GL1000 motorcycle pistons (domed for ~10.5:1 compression)...and a 1300 crank and rods.... I still have a full build at home in the box as a matter of fact... complete with a brand new set of Mikuni 36PHH sidedraft carbs built specificalli for American Honda's GT-3 Civic But I digress. The problem was that stroker would throw rods when you ran it to ten grand... not horribly reliable but made 150+ HP... fun fun fun !!!!!

At least Honda has pretty well balanced internals out of the box... try revving anythign made by G(eneral) M(ayhem) TO 9,000rpm
Ah. Is there a concrete formula to compute max piston speed? All I could find was mean piston speed and maximum piston acceleration.
