after reading all of hose post's i felt sick, short ram intakes are great for a deep throaty sound but thats about it, even tho there is less turbulance in to the throttle body the hot under hood air temp it brings in evens out the gains that it givs you... Cold air is the way to go, if your affraid of watter being sucked up into your intake and experianceing catastrophic engine failure you can go w/ a bypass filter AEM or Ebay... ther all the same one just might last longe or look nicer. And as for which to buy, iv had luck with both ebay and over counter parts just make sure you buy from a good seller.
