vtec...beautiful thing, but it's a pain. You're gonna need an obd0 vtec ecu or find a d series ecu and buy a conversion harness...You're gonna have to swap the entire head, vtec solenoid, and distributor. You will have to get the wiring pinouts from the engine it came off of and your engine you're going to put it on (this is the hardest part but not too difficult.) Basically if the wire colors the on the wiring pinouts don't match then you will have to depin your distributor plug on your harness and take the plug for the distributor on the other car and basically swap them over wire for wire. (For example, your wire in pin 1 is orange and the one on the other car red, if there is no other orange wire just put the orange where the red was.) Then you will have to wire up 3 more wires (1 is going to be black (vtec ground) and of course it's a ground. One is blue and I beleive it's the oil pressure and the other green/white and it's your vtec power wire. But don't quote me on the wire colors cause i'm too lazy to walk downstairs to look at my car. And while your doing vtec wiring, your mine as well do a vtec controller to have some fun with later on.
