I'm a service advisor at a BMW shop. I see alot of thrust arm bushings and tie rod end bushings being replaced. These cars just seem to eat them up.
I think BMWs rely heavily on their rubber bushings to give their car a more forgiving nature in terms of handling limits, thus why there's so much stress on them.
I want to get polyurethane, but I'm scared of the noises they might cause and how much it might affect the current handling.
