car just cranks and won't start seems like it wants to for a second then nothing

checked all fuses and wiring

changed fuel filter

good fuel pressure

also tested ignition coil and module they are ok....

problems started a week ago when car had been running for a while turned it off for a few 5 maybe 10 min and wouldn't start again replaced cap rotor and plugs car started but ran terrible missing on cylinders 2 and 4 for a short time then turned it off (didn't want to damage cat) tried to start it a short time later and would only crank had it towed to the shop they sprayed starting fluid in it and it fired right up ran great no missfiring drove it arround for awhile got gas started up fine after refueling drove arround awhile longer then parked it overnight next morning wouldn't start only runs on starting fluid for a few seconds then stalls
