swapping the engine is probably a better deal than rebuilding the one you have - rebuilding it isn't going to make it a whole lot faster - B18C1 swaps can get pretty expensive - for that matter, any B-series, like B16A, B18A1, B18B1 (which are the LS engines), B18C5, are going to cost you more than doing a D-series swap, like D16Z6, D16Y8, JDM D16A, JDM SOHC ZC, JDM SOHC ZC VTEC or JDM DOHC ZC - the B-series require the use of a B-series transmission, aftermarket mount kit, aftermarket shift linkage, different ECU and Integra axles - these things all run up the cost in a hurry - with the D-series engines, you can use your SI transmission, shift linkage and mounts - the most you would have to do is get a different ECU and OBD0 to OBD1 ECU wiring jumper harness, if you were to run one of the OBD1 D-series engines
