it doesn't make sense in principal, because you don't have to burn music onto a blank CD. and at least in america, you're allowed to make copies of legally obtained intellectual property for your own personal use. dunno how it is in canada.

but if it shuts the recording industry up, i can see why people would support it. that doesn't make it good, tho, because the recording industry is still full of shit.

i'd just stock up on blank CDs every time i went out of the country :rick:
