Thats because half of the H22s are swapped into a civic and live a rough life and the belt typically breaks when theyre punching it past redline. so of course its going to go ca-boom when it snaps. Usually if it snaps near idle you can replace a few valves and be ok. An accord I owned broke one backing out of my driveway one morning. Replaced an intake valve that got bent and it was good to go again.
