We all have to realize that "fast" is a relitive term. What do you consider fast? Do you judge it by 1/4 mile, lap time at a road track? How many people you've "smoked" on the street?

Personally, I look mostly at 1/4 mile times. I think a 14-second civic is movin' pretty good. A 14-second Mustang, on the other hand, seems kinda slow. At the same time, I think a 10 second Chevelle, GTO, Nova, whatever is fast – but a 10-second Civic is insane!

The bottom line is if you're happy with what you drive, screw everyone else. The Civic is a great car for so many reasons, just as other cars (even my old Focus) was a good car for certain reasons (I could get tons of stuff in it, it was fun to drive).

Not everyone is going to like you car, but as long as you do, then it's all good.
