Most people lost power for 5 - 7 days, some for almost 3 weeks. People froze to death in their homes. All the power lines and towers went down. All the damage from the tree limbs breaking from the sheer weight of the ice.

We never lost power though. That icestorm in northern NY killed a ton of people though.
