I just finished a auto to manual swap but still haven't got the 5spd ecu yet. The problem occured before the project though.

When you start the car it idles sort of high for a little bit and then idles down, normal. Then it randomly beggins to rev up to about 1.5k and fall down to 500rpm it will continue to do this bouncing untill you start to drive it, then as soon as you push in the clucth or put it in neutral..it bounces back and forth again. It used to only do this if you pumped the brakes now it does as explained above and when you pump the brakes it makes it more intense.
