Short Answer: German & British, with a few remnants of Welsh and Dutch.
Both sides emigrated to the US in the early 1800s, eventually settling in the Pacific Northwest.

Long(er) Answer: [spoiler="..."]On my father's side, the lineage traces back to about 1600, coming from northwestern Germany, near Bremen. That's where a bit of Dutch entered the bloodline.

Had things played out differently, my last name could have been Viedörfer. h:

On my mother's side, it's a mix of Welsh and English, mostly from the Midlands. Prior to about 1780, it gets a little bit harder to trace. [/spoiler]
