Okay, so my car is almost done being sleeved, and build (expected to be returned to me by sept. 14 or before) And im spending a lot more then expected on the build, new exhaust, labor, a various small things. So instead of me spend most of my money (i still have a little bit of funds left) my girl friend told me she would pay for the most expensive part that i still have to buy. So i told her that was going to be the turbo, and she agreed to buying it for me!!!! I already have a small turbo that i was going to use before my build, but i decieded half way threw buying all my turbo components that im just going to do it right in the first place and get as much streetable hp i can get. So i have a few choices in turbos that im looking at. They're all BB turbos, and made by garrett. Im looking at one of the following: GT3071R, GT3076R, or a GT3082R. Im pretty sure im not going to go with the GT3071R because it would be too small (the most efficent whp would be in the 300's and im looking for something higher). Im sure the 3076 would spool up 375 whp, but im not sure if it would reach the 400whp that im looking for. But the problem with the 3082 (aka the GT30/GT40) is that im not sure if it will be a streetable turbo.
