At what rpm does the engine generate 310 lb ft of torque? If it's at 5000+ rpm, then the engine is in fact torqueless by today's standards.
add up the most common options for any porsche and you'll be surprised at the end result.
if the engine revs to 8000 rpm and the 310lb/ft doesn't drop off until 7000rpm is it still torqueless? because last time i checked it's not how high or what the peak torque that matters, it's the "area" under the curve.
