I had the OE Sports on my 95 GSR and they do lower it more like 1" after settling. Probably not stiff enough with stock shocks though. If you stick with stock shocks and something like OE sports (which wouldn't require a camber kit) will be OK, but it isn't going to handle as well as getting better shocks too. Basically it is the same labor for the springs and the shocks, so do them at the same time.

There was a really good deal for KYB GR-2s on eBay from a reputable shop (like $165!). Sorry, I don't have a link though.
