I taught myself to drive stick when I bought my GSR. A friend of mine had halfway shown me how to do it with his '87 Sentra so it wasn't such a big deal when I bought the GSR. Since then I have tried to teach assorted girls how to drive stick with my GSR, my Miata, or my dad's TT; with varying degrees of success. My mom still doesn't have it figured out too well though, the garage would always end up smelling like burning clutch when she used to take my dad's TT out before he wrecked it.
