I've tried teaching my lady twice. The first time when I had the integra...she could take off great, but not change gears. She couldn't get her coordination down...she held in the clutch and the gas at the same time.

Most recently, as of Thursday, I tried again in my Civic (since I don't have the Integra anymore) and she did fine. Taking off was a little trickier for her. We practiced that a good 5-7 times. Then, with the car off, I had her go through the gears, so she could get the hang of it. Then we took off, and I told her when to change gears and everything and we made it around the block. Luckily I live next to a church, so we had a huge parking lot to practice on.
