Has anyone seen the new ford commercial where the family gets back from some trip or something, and the dad thanks the mom for letting him go before she drives off with the kids?
I know I sound like an old conservative yelling at the changing times, but does this bother anyone? How we're getting to the point where people are praised for maintaining a good relationship after a divorce? Shouldn't we be encouraging couples to stick together for the sake of their kids instead of promoting divorce?

Are you bothered by the fact that the father is asking for the mother for the approval? I think it reflects the attitudes of many women. Sure its just an ad and we can all brush it off, but many women in this country think they can have their cake and eat it too.
