The said "journalists" are the vwvortex guys. They were told by the said "Chairman" that the R32 will not be coming to the US. That is from the guys that actually drove the car after asking why it wont be coming to the US.

The car is very limited in appeal (at least in VWs mind) in the US and it will be produced in very limited numbers which means it wont be worth it for them to bring it over. Also it would probably end up costing $35K+

Having said that if they bring it I will sell the EVO8 that I will buy next year to buy the R32.
Unless it doesn't come in Yellow
