your relay is fragged. I live in DFW too. this summer has sucked...I drive a 5th gen and I'm surprised my relay hasn't given out yet, but my friend Eddy's fried about 4 days ago. We hopped on the internet and found out what happened...replacing it is time-consuming but pretty easy.
leave your windows cracked, or buy one of those solar-powered microfans that just came on the market.

Also, when you park and leave it for a few hours, turn your ac to full hot and use the "Outside Air" setting...open all your AC vents inside your car fully. this basically opens all the shutters and fans in the front of your car and lets air circulate through your car's open AC system...doesn't cool a LOT but it def. prevents heat from building as quickly.
This summer is going to kill so many great accords.
