I was sellin em back in '04 before the new ones came out, and I thought the 4x4 quad cab short bed with the TRD pack was pretty sweet. Not sure about the current gen, but the previous gen had much lower curb weights than other similar sized pickups so they had much higher cargo capacities. Towing was about the same. They were trucky but not overly huge, pretty easy to park, not too ponderous to handle, and even felt kinda sporty. Not sure about the brakes but if you're gonna be doing some off-roading make sure you get one with the electric locking rear diff. The new one does have a way nicer motor than the previous gen.
