where do you live? around here 4x4's cost $$$ because snow season calls for a 4wd vehicle if it's an option and dealers know it.
my suggestion is for you to get a 4x4 crewcab with the v6 and manual transmission.
there are option packages avalible, generally speaking there are usually only 2 or 3 offroad packages avalible at most. the main differences you might find are side curtain airbags and possibly the addition or subtraction of daytime running lights or the upgraded stereo
the side curtains add about 1k to the price, the offroad package comes nicely equipped with bilstien shocks and a 9.5 inch ground clearance.
the bed comes standard with a composite liner (i hear they are prone to cracking, as is the optional front end skid plate. so you might wnat ot make sure they fixed those problems)
