If GM really wants to sell these trucks in large numbers, they should include large-scale deployment of the Duramax turbodiesel engine with next-generation diesel emission controls or offer their new hybrid drive system (the one they co-developed with DaimlerChrysler and BMW), which means the new GM trucks will offer surprisingly good fuel economy.
