that's the rotor. it spins around inside the distributor cap. there's a tiny screw on one side that you unscrew, then you can pull the rotor right off. you have to turn the motor til the rotor is aligned properly. use a 19mm socket with a couple of extensions. turn the steering wheel all the way to the left, and behind the left front wheel, there is a little slot in the plastic. stick the socket through there and you'll get to a bolt. turn that bolt CLOCKWISE, slowly unti lthe rotor is aligned so that you can get to the screw. i know this sounds complicated, but it's not when the car is in front of you. i'm gonna try to find you the helms.
ok, this is for 94+ but the procedure for changing the coil should be very similar. this is a HUGE file, with tons of info, so be patient when digging through it.
