i have a 92 civic 4 door. and i just swapped a d16y7 into it.
i am very new to hondas, i am used to working on dsm's.
so any help would be much appreiciated.
so here is my problem, the motor is in and the wiring harness is all plugged in, i am not sure what motor the harness is from but everything pretty much matches up except the clips to the 4 injectors, i cut them off and rewired the clips that came with the motor (that was the only part of the wirring harness that came with the motor, the injector wires)
i made sure to match the colors with the original clips
other than that pretty much everything connected fine. after we fineshed connecting everything i tried to start it. it didnt even turn over, it didnt even try.
the battery is good and i really dont know why it wont even ingauge the starter...
if you know why or even if you just have some ideas please let me know how i can fix this.
do i need a new wiring harness?
would i need the ecu from the 96 civic that the motor came out of?
