If I hit eject on my head unit, it will slide down but won't seem to go down all the way. I have to help it out and muscle it down the rest of the way. I can't tell if it needs wd40 (or other lubricant?) in the joints somewhere, it is a pretty old head unit (it's from the sony mini-disc days).

It has nothing to do with the faceplate, I'm able to induce the eject without it.
