well, i got my car turbo'd and running. i mean "running". i still need a clutch, my ecu chipped, injectors, pistons, block work/headwork, andi don't have the cash. so i chose to apply for a loan. i was gonna take out a $3000 loan to finish it... but last night i stumbled into a hell of a deal.

the guy i live with went to lincoln tech. his room mate is asking $2000 for his motor he pulled from his sol. so, i'm gonna take out about $2500, buy that motor, thicker head gasket for boost, a boost controller (not cheap out), external wastegate, and better BOV.

THE MOTOR:

Venom Intake manifold, venom injectors, AEM fuel rail with fuel pressure regulator.

y8 head, port matched & polished. .460 cam (crower or skunk2), fererra valves, skunk2 valve springs.

z6 block, bored .30 over. unsure of which pistons... but 11:1 compession. block is sleeved & filled. eagle rods, crower stroker crank.

si tranny, upgraded rings & synchros. stage 2 clutch. stage 2 axels

this setup ran a 13.1 1/4 mile in a del sol... all motor. he ran one pass on nitrous, and ran a 12.1. with the thicker head gasket, i hope for between 10 and 15 psi off the turbo. he estimated the hp now, N/A, around 275-300. so i'm shooting for 350-400 with the turbo kit on.
