I'd agree with most of that. My general consensus is that I'd use a B16 in nothing other than a CRX/EF chassis. You need torque to lug weight around, anything heavier than that and you start becoming a dog.
I just don't like them when there are better alternatives available. An LS in your car would run very similar times and would have a much better torque curve for about the same money.
But that's just my preference, not yours.
