Sounds like you need some help deciphering the engine codes Honda uses...
No offense, but it sounds like you need to do some research before you attempt to do anything hybrid-wise... I was a noob once before too...

If you got a stock civic, then you got a D-series motor. D-series were designed for the american market, and therefore the dimensions among other things are NOT the same as a B16, including the tranny.
Yes, you can put a GSR head on an LS block, but it's not as simple as "bolting it up". You MUST take it to a machine shop to have the dowel pin holes drilled out (larger) just to place it on the LS block...
In addition, there are many other things that must be done...
