The whole experience was "interesting."

I had to wear a gown, and the nurse told me I had to strip down to my skivvies. That was fine, but it was so fucking cold... They gave me warm blankets though The worst part was waiting to go into the OR because I was just sitting in a reclining chair, reading the nespaper with one hand because moving my IV hand caused a little discomfort. Then 3 different nurses came in and asked me the same questions, as well as the anesthesiologist.

But as soon as I got in, I was just KTFO'd and woke up in the recovery room.

I'm a little bit groggy but otherwise fine.

It hurts to swallow, and it's really hard to burp. My ears don't hurt. I can't talk not for 2 days, but just as soon as I feel comfortable, so they said that may take up to a week. Today it's only clear liquids for me. Nothing hot for a week.
