Doesn't matter if it stops making power at 7500, you should also be using gear ratio to dictate the shift point for maximum acceleration.
Look at it this way (on the CTR build, as that's NA) if he goes 700rpm past peak, he making within 5-10hp of the peak. If you push the start of the next gear from say 5000 to 5700rpm, it starts with an extra 35-40hp. That will help quite a bit in acceleration.
It's called overrev, and it's valued commodity, especially in sport bikes.
