Mine tend to last about 1 to 1.5 I have had a few last 2 years but generally either the technology surpasses the phone or the battery keels over, breaks, begins shorting out etc at that point.
It is a disposable appliance when you really look at it and anyone spending ungodly amounts on the latest and hippest is a sad individual really.
